We hold regular training sessions plus some more informal ones that coaches and members organise.
Monday evening run sessions at Victoria Park. Led by Adey from 7:30pm until 8:30pm. As challenging as you make it and designed to encourage each other. Beginners or advanced runners welcome. Focus is technique and running styles.
Tuesday evening swim session (Autumn / Spring) puts you into one of four lanes depending on your fitness and experience. With an 8:00pm start at Ashford School. All levels welcome even if you have never swum before. £5 ATC members / £6 non-members to cover costs. Each week has a different focus on technique. Thursday’s run is led by an ATC coach, meeting at The Julie Rose Stadium car park at 6:50pm. Hi viz and a happy smile essential.
There are various groups that go off for long and short runs over the weekend especially taking advantage of parkrun on Saturday morning.
We run a club cycle ride called ‘the Brunch Ride’ which is specifically aimed at beginners. Based on numbers we also split the group to adding a faster ride for those who want to go off in a faster group. All meeting back at Warehorne for Brunch. It runs every 3rd Sunday of the month meeting at the Woolpack at 9:00am.
