Ashford Tri Club were back in action this weekend at the Dartford Team Duathlon Relay — this time for the Team Relay. We had one team flying the ATC flag, plus Peter taking on the solo event alongside them.
The day started off under heavy rain, with soggy shoes and wet roads adding an extra challenge to the early stages. But as the event went on, the skies cleared, and the sunshine made for a fantastic finish to the day.
Our relay team cheered each other on, and did their best, showing true club spirit and teamwork across all nine legs. Everyone dug deep and put in strong performances throughout, rounding off a great day of racing and camaraderie.
Meanwhile, Peter’s solo effort really paid off — he stormed through the field to claim 3rd place overall, earning himself a shiny gold trophy for his efforts! 🏆
